Phomos
The Deep One · Crashes Upon the Shores
In no hurry. Never has been.
Phomos is the god of oceans and seas in the Church of Meh. Phomos is named for a fungus that lives in deep-sea sediment, which tells you most of what you need to know. Phomos is slow, deep, and far more interested in what things become than in what they currently are.
There were Phomos and Clados, who became the god of the oceans, and the goddess of lakes, and rivers. Their moods are tidal. Their patience is geological. They have never once been in a hurry, and they find the urgency of land-dwelling things faintly amusing.
